London weather…… Ho hum….. Or at least it can be. We were recently told that London weather tends to bring all four seasons in the span of 24 hours, and while that can be a little exaggerated, the weather does fluctuate quite a bit. One minute it’s warm and sunny and then, almost from nowhere, it starts pouring rain.
Thankfully there are a lot of pubs that we can take shelter in. And we’ve been doing that quite a lot since we’re often out and about on long walks, seemingly tempting the weather.
But we’ve also found out that BBC’s hourly forecast is pretty accurate, which is allowing us to better plan our days.
Yesterday was one of those days when the weather just changes unexpectedly. It was cloudy and foggy all day long. And then, at around 4pm, the sun was out and it felt like a veil had been lifted off London.
Taking the opportunity, we went for a walk, opting to walk along the promenade north of the river rather than the old ‘hood. And looking at The Shard, we realized it was so clear that we could see the moon. Can you spot it in this photo?
