Unless you’ve been living under a rock, you must have heard about Heston Blumenthal. The Willy Wonka of haute cuisine, the prince of invention, the master of dining trickery. He’s had such a big part in putting British food on the world map that makes us wonder why he hasn’t been knighted yet.
Yet another easy one. Prep takes maybe 10m, though it needs to cook for a few hours after that.
Pesto is delicious. It is easy to make. It goes well with tons of things (chicken, pork, pasta, crackers to name a few). And a homemade version will beat the pants off anything you’ll get in a jar. Trust us on this one.
We’ve been a bit too quiet on the blog front of late. To get things spinning again, we decided to pose ourselves a little challenge: try to go without canned/bottled food items for a month, and make equivalents ourselves.
